About Me

Hi, my name is Zoe and I started Bark4aCause for my friend Phenyx because she has brain cancer. From when I started, 100% of my profits have gone directly to her and her parents, so they can pay for bills and important medical stuff like that.

I'm a philanthropist at heart, and think good causes are worth supporting! Watch our instagram to see who we're supporting next!

Here is some tips for hot days with your dogs or dog

  • make a ice pop with water

  • give your dog fresh cold water every now and then.

  • give your dog a spot on the couch if your dog is aloud on the couch.

Thats some good things to do with your dog on hot days!

here are some tips so if it is cold out your dogs can be comfortable

  • Repeatedly coming out of the cold into the dry heat of your home can cause itchy, flaking skin. Keep your home humidified and towel dry your pet as soon as he comes inside, paying special attention to his feet and in-between the toes. Remove any snow balls from between his foot pads. I got this from https://www.aspca.org/pet-care/general-pet-care/cold-weather-safety-tips

  • you could give them a bone to keep them intertand

  • wrap you pet in a blanket and CUDDLE!

  • Limit time outdoors. No dog -- not even the toughest Arctic sled dog -- is meant to spend huge amounts of time outside in the winter. A thick coat doesn't protect all body parts.

  • "Their ears are exposed, their paws are in direct contact with cold cement, their nose is sticking out there in the wind," says K.C. Theisen, director of pet care issues at the Humane Society of the United States. "Never leave dogs outside unattended for any length of time. Only take them outside if they're going to be active and exercise." Even then, you may need to shorten a walk if it’s really cold. i found this on https://pets.webmd.com/dogs/features/dog-cold-weather-tips#1
